Issue Description
If your Lifepod will not open and has never been opened before, the device may have pressurized during transit. The LifePod is never shipped in the locked position.
Solution Steps
Step 1: Release Pressure via Keyhole Door
Open the keyhole door to release the pressure that may have built up during shipping.
Step 2: Alternative Method (if Step 1 doesn't work)
- Take something thin, such as a butter knife
- Slip it into the seam between the compression latch and keypad
- This should release the pressure and allow the lid to open
Important Note
The LifePod is not rechargeable. The micro-USB connection is designed for emergency power only in the event your battery dies, not for regular charging.
